*Clockshop has adapted our public programs and artwork commissions from the Bowtie site along the LA River to the Los Angeles State Historic Park as part of our strategic response to state and local health ordinances for how public gatherings can take place during the COVID-19 pandemic.*

Listening by Moonrise is a quarterly music series, held at the Los Angeles State Historic Park on the eve of the full moon.

This new series features performances and immersive experiences with leading sound artists, performers and musicians. We hope to create an experience that provides moments of reflection, connection, and celebration within the context of a community centered green space.

For Listening by Moonrise we will invite guests who are quarantining together to attend in small groups and experience five different musical performances positioned in different locations throughout the park. Each musical experience will be designed for no more than 10 people with guests invited to walk and listen for 10-15 minutes before moving on to the next performance.

Reading by Moonrise is a quarterly reading series, held at the Bowtie Project on the eve of the full moon.

Authors, journalists and playwrights are invited to read original and favorite texts along the banks of the LA River. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic items and blankets as they gather around the fire for s’mores and stories.
