Artworks at the Bowtie challenge notions of what public art looks like, and what it can accomplish. Clockshop curates, commissions, and produced two large-scale public art projects at the Bowtie each year until 2020. Since then, Clockshop has been commissioning and producing projects to be sited at Los Angeles State Historic Park — both in response to the pandemic, and because the Bowtie will be undergoing construction and development into a new State park for Northeast Los Angeles.
