Listening by Moonrise is a seasonal music series held at Los Angeles State Historic Park on the eve of the full moon (or as close to it). Listening by Moonrise features performances and immersive sound experiences with leading multidisciplinary sound artists. This program offers listeners moments of reflection, connection, and joy while experiencing music and sound collectively within the context of a community-centered green space.
Reading by Moonrise is a quarterly reading series, formerly held at the Bowtie Project on the eve of the full moon. Clockshop invites authors, journalists and playwrights to read original and favorite texts. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic items and blankets as they gather around for stories.
