Join us at The Bowtie Project for an evening around the fire as authors Robin Coste Lewis and Ben Loory select and read slightly spooky stories as the full moon rises over the LA River.

This event is free and open to the public. Clockshop suggests a $5 donation to support our Reading and Listening by Moonrise series.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Robin Coste Lewis is the author of Voyage of the Sable Venus (Knopf, 2015). She is a Provost’s Fellow at the University of Southern California and lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Ben Loory is the author of the collection Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day (Penguin, 2011), and a picture book for children, The Baseball Player and the Walrus (Dial Books for Young Readers, 2015). He lives in Echo Park, and is an Instructor for the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program.

Please note that seating is not provided for this event. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic items and blankets. S’mores will be provided between readings.
