Join us at The Bowtie Project for an evening around the fire as our youth participants of Writing in Nature share their Bowtie-inspired creations.
Writing in Nature is a creative writing program for youth ages 12 to 16 happening at the Bowtie over the course of two Saturdays in September. Through physical exploration and writing exercises, youth participants will write, think, and experience how being in a different geographical space affects their bodies and the way they envision Los Angeles.
Youth participants will debut their work at this Reading By Moonrise. Additionally, they will collaboratively create a zine of their writing, including visual illustrations, photographs, and other artifacts from their time together, that will be on sale at this event.
This event is free and open to the public. Clockshop suggests a $5 donation to support our Reading and Listening by Moonrise series.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please note that seating is not provided for this event. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic items and blankets. S’mores will be provided between readings.

There are several all-gender public restrooms and portapotties on site.
