Having access to parks helps kids learn that community is valuable; that we aren’t just single individuals. Today, I hope that my grandchildren have moments where their kites become tangled with someone they’ve never met. In those moments, there are opportunities to meet new lifelong friends and learn the valuable life lesson of working together.
