In a big city like Los Angeles, it’s important to step outside your own bubble and experience different communities. We drove out from Santa Monica and even visited another park this morning. It’s a privilege to share this experience with my daughter. It’s her first time making a kite, and mine too. The kite festival was very peaceful, simple, and a moving juxtaposition within the busyness of LA.
