Public Speaking
2004 – 2006

Public Speaking is a series of artists’ billboards that appeared over the course of three years—2004, 2005, and 2006.

Billboard images were selected from an invited submission process to appear along Wilshire Boulevard in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood. Each billboard was installed for a month. Works were selected for this temporary exhibition to spark curiosity, conversation, and debate.

SUPPORT
Public Speaking is funded by Viacom Outdoor / CBS Outdoor, the Puffin Foundation, the Lef Foundation, and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
